Complete FCI championship guide — all ČMKU title tracks and conditions verified from official regulations.
The Czech Republic's championship system is administered by the Českomoravská kynologická unie (ČMKU), the sole FCI-recognized national kennel club for the Czech Republic. All shows must be organized under ČMKU patronage and held on Czech territory for certificates to count. The system spans 8 distinct title tracks — from the foundational Junior and Adult Championships to advanced Working and Racing titles. Always confirm current conditions directly with cmku.cz before applying.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many CAC are needed for the Czech Beauty Champion? +
4 CAC certificates are required. They must come from at least 2 different judges, be won across a minimum of 2 show seasons (calendar years), and at least 2 of the 4 must be from International (CACIB) shows. Working breeds have the option to finish with 2x CAC if they pass a recognized working trial.
What is a show season in the Czech Republic? +
In the Czech Republic, a show season is defined strictly as a calendar year. To fulfill the requirement of "two show seasons", the CACs must be won in two different calendar years (e.g., one in 2024 and one in 2025).
Can I use a Reserve CAC for the Czech Champion title? +
Yes, a Reserve CAC can be used as a regular CAC, but only if the dog that won the CAC at that specific show is already a confirmed Czech Champion or Champion ČMKU at the time the Reserve CAC was awarded.
Does the Czech Junior Champion title allow Champion Class entry? +
No. The Czech Junior Champion title is recorded in the pedigree but does not qualify the dog to compete in the Champion or Winner Class. Only the adult Czech Champion or Champion ČMKU grants access to these classes.
What is the Champion ČMKU title? +
The Champion ČMKU is a special title awarded to dogs that win 4x CAC ČMKU across two show seasons. A CAC ČMKU is automatically awarded to the National Winner (at National shows) and the CACIB winner (at International shows). This title allows entry into the Champion/Winner class.
