Complete FCI championship guide — all SKJ title tracks and conditions verified from official regulations.
Slovakia's championship system is administered by the Slovenská kynologická jednota (SKJ), the sole FCI-recognized national kennel club for Slovakia. All shows must be organized under SKJ patronage and held on Slovak territory for certificates to count. The system spans 13 distinct title tracks — from the foundational Junior and Adult Championships to an advanced pyramid of Exhibition and Super Grand titles, and a Golden Series introduced in 2024. Always confirm current conditions directly with skj.sk before applying.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many CAC are needed for the Slovak Beauty Champion? +
4 CAC certificates are required. They must come from at least 2 different judges, be won across a minimum of 2 show seasons, and at least 2 of the 4 must be from International (CACIB) shows. 3× Reserve CAC may substitute for 1× CAC, but only once.
What is a show season in Slovakia? +
A show season in Slovakia is defined by calendar year. Two CAC won in December 2024 and January 2025 count as two different seasons, even though they are only weeks apart. This makes it technically possible to complete the CH SK in a very short timeframe if the calendar timing is planned correctly.
Can the same CAC be used for multiple titles? +
No. SKJ regulations explicitly prohibit using a CAC certificate that was already applied towards one championship for another. Each title track requires its own independent set of certifications earned after the previous title is confirmed.
Does the Junior Champion title allow Champion Class entry? +
No. The Slovak Junior Champion (JCH SK) is recorded in the pedigree but does not qualify the dog for the Champion Class. Only the Slovak Beauty Champion (CH SK) grants access to the Champion Class at SKJ-licensed shows.
What are the Golden Series titles? +
The Golden Series — Golden Junior, Golden Champion, and Golden Veteran — were introduced by SKJ effective 1 January 2024. They are based on Best of Junior (BOJ), Best of Breed (BOB), and Best of Veteran (BOV) wins at CACIB shows in Slovakia. These titles are not recorded in the pedigree and do not grant Champion Class access.
Where can I find upcoming shows in Slovakia? +
The official SKJ show calendar is published at skj.sk. The DOGMASH Dog Show Map provides direct links to online entry portals for shows in Slovakia and across Europe.
