The New South Wales member body of Dogs Australia.

About the Club

Background and role

DOGS NSW is the controlling body for pure bred dogs in New South Wales and one of the eight state and territory member bodies of Dogs Australia.

Dogs Australia is the administrative body for pure breed canine affairs in Australia, but it does not deal directly with exhibitors, breeders or judges. That work belongs to the member body of each state and territory, and in New South Wales that body is DOGS NSW: it registers breeders and their prefixes, licenses and schedules shows, runs the state judges scheme and keeps a library and archives education centre.

Judges in this directory hold or have held office here. Lyn Brand was its president and a director on its board until she resigned from both offices in April 2023, and Tracie Buckley convenes its junior handler working party.
