Background and role
DOGS Queensland is the controlling body for pure bred dogs in Queensland and one of the eight state and territory member bodies of Dogs Australia.
Like the other member bodies it handles what the national body does not: breeder and prefix registration, show licensing, and the state judges scheme. Its Conformation Judges Committee runs that scheme, and Andrew Brown sits on its general committee.
