Basset Klubben (BK) is the official breed club dedicated to the welfare, promotion, and development of six specific Basset breeds in Denmark. The club organizes a wide range of activities, including:

• Exhibitions: Hosting both club-specific shows and participating in DKK-sanctioned events.
• Social Gatherings: Regional walks, dinners, and annual meetings that foster a sense of community among members.
• Working Dog Training: Providing resources and trials for schweiss (tracking) and other working dog disciplines.
• Breeding Support: Managing a puppy list and providing strict guidelines for breeders to ensure the health and quality of the breeds.

Basset Klubben is a member-driven organization governed by a board of directors and various specialized committees, including health, exhibition, and working dog committees.
