Suomen Tanskandoggi (STD)

Suomen Tanskandoggi ry (The Great Dane Club of Finland), established in 1972, serves as the official breed club for Great Danes in Finland. Originally operating under the Finnish Companion and Toy Dog Club, the organization eventually achieved independent breed club status from the Finnish Kennel Club after meeting all necessary registration and operational requirements. The club is dedicated to the preservation and betterment of the Great Dane breed, focusing specifically on maintaining the breed standard regarding temperament, physical appearance, and overall health.

The club operates through a highly structured framework of committees, each tasked with specific responsibilities to support the breed. These include:
