Association Canine Territoriale des Landes (ACTL)
The territorial canine association of the Landes
About the Club
Background and role
The Association Canine Territoriale des Landes states its own purpose plainly: to promote, in the territory the Société Centrale Canine assigns to it, all breeds of the canine species and the practice by dogs of the different activities the federation recognises. In that role it is the federation’s local interlocutor.
Its committee is chaired by Sylvie Malavialle, with Joël Chauvet as vice-president, Philippe Straehli as secretary and Bruno Véron as treasurer. Members carry named briefs — sighthounds, hunting and field trials, herding, equipment.
The brief for shows and confirmations belongs to Joëlle Bardet, who is judge for the whole of Group 2 in the French register and holds an American Kennel Club licence besides.
