Club Canin d'Hellemmes (CCH)
Club 834 in the register of the Société Centrale Canine, carrying the whole rescue-dog programme beside Ring and Mondioring.
About the Club
Background and role
The Club Canin d'Hellemmes is club number 834 in the register of the Société Centrale Canine and trains on its own ground at Hellemmes, on the edge of Lille in the Nord.
Nine activities are practised there, and five of them are rescue work: tracking, article search, avalanche, rubble and water, each listed separately as a rescue-dog discipline. The other four are Ring, Mondioring, obedience and basic training. Few French clubs carry the whole rescue programme; this one carries it beside the two bite-work disciplines.
Its president and licensing contact is Philippe Bernard, who is a training judge for rescue work and the working-dog contact for the Association Canine Territoriale Club Saint-Hubert du Nord.
