Deutscher Retriever Club (DRC)

The Deutscher Retriever Club e.V. (DRC) stands as the oldest and largest organization dedicated to retriever breeds in Germany. Founded in 1963, the club has grown into a significant community of approximately 13,000 members, serving as a central hub for enthusiasts, breeders, and owners alike. As a prestigious institution, the DRC is officially affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH), the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI), and the Deutscher Jagdgebrauchshundeverband (JGHV), ensuring that its operations adhere to the highest international standards of canine welfare and breeding excellence.
