Australian Shepherd Club Italia (ASCI)

The Italian Australian & American Shepherd Association (IAASA), formerly known as the Australian Shepherd Club Italia, serves as the sole specialized society recognized by the ENCI (Ente Nazionale Cinofilia Italiana) for the protection and promotion of the Australian Shepherd breed in Italy. Established on July 28, 2007, by a dedicated group of breeders and owners, the club received official recognition from the national cynological body on September 22, 2009. In January 2021, the association expanded its scope to include the protection of the Miniature American Shepherd (MAS), leading to its current designation as the IAASA.
