The Kennel Club de España (KCE) is an independent national canine organization based in Spain, officially recognized by the General Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock since October 26, 2018. Operating under the legal framework of Royal Decrees 558/2001 and 1557/2005, the KCE serves as an alternative association for breeders and owners of purebred dogs. It is important to note that the KCE is not affiliated with the FCI, but is a full member of the International Kennel Union (IKU), providing its members with access to a global network of over 1,500 associated canine organizations.
