The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Greater Seattle (BMDCGS) is a dedicated non-profit organization established in May 1980. Recognized as an official regional club by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, the organization serves as a hub for serious breed fanciers, companion owners, and enthusiasts committed to the welfare of the Bernese Mountain Dog. While the club's primary activities are centered in the Greater Seattle area, its membership base is geographically diverse, spanning the western side of the Cascades, reaching as far north as British Columbia, and extending south to the Greater Portland, Oregon region.
