About Dr. Wolfgang Henke

Dr. Wolfgang Henke has served as a performance judge (Leistungsrichter) for the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV) since 1987, working to preserve the German Shepherd Dog's working ability, and since 2001 has represented the SV as an ambassador on international assignments supporting organizational and training development abroad.

He was awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz (Federal Cross of Merit) in recognition of his cynological work.

Judging Credentials

Henke is registered with Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen as a specialist breed judge for the Affenpinscher, Akita, American Akita, German Pinscher and Dobermann, holding Akita and American Akita authorization since 2018.

Dr. Wolfgang Henke is listed as an FCI judge under Fédération Cynologique Internationale.

Club and Organization Roles
