About Chie Ejima Yamakado
Judging Credentials
Chie Ejima Yamakado is registered in the Fédération Cynologique Internationale list of judges through the Japan Kennel Club, the FCI national organisation for the country.
The record shows that Ejima holds a group judge authorisation for all ten FCI groups, and is recorded as an all-breed judge.
The discipline recorded against the licence is shows, first authorised on 28.08.1983.
Ejima grew up with parents who were breeders. She has bred Akitas, Japanese Spitz, Shibas, Pomeranians and poodles, but is best known for her Papillons and Golden Retrievers, bred under the affix Queen Bless. Dogs from that kennel have taken more than a thousand titles between them; her Papillons have won Best of Breed at Crufts in 2017, three Bests of Breed at Westminster, World and European Winner titles, and four Best in Specialty Show awards at the Papillon Club of America national.
She worked as a professional all-breeds handler from 1980 to 2005, showing in the United States, Britain and across Europe and often winning Best in Show. She received her all-breeds judging licence in 1998 and has since judged in thirty-five countries.
The American Kennel Club lists her as a conformation judge as well, cleared for all seven of its groups and 188 individual breeds, with approvals reaching back to 2008. Because the AKC divides the breeds into its own seven groups rather than the FCI's ten, the two sets of approvals sit alongside each other.
Chie Ejima Yamakado is listed as an FCI judge under Fédération Cynologique Internationale.
