Professional Profile: Gertrud Hagström
Judging Credentials
Gertrud Hagström, born 1952, is an FCI judge from Kalmar, Sweden, licensed under the Svenska Kennelklubben since 28 August 1997. She is authorized across FCI Groups 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10, judging most of Group 9 alongside the full Terrier, Dachshund, Schnauzer and Pinscher groups. She has judged extensively across Europe, Russia and Australia, including the Irish Terrier ring at the 2017 Leipzig World Dog Show.
Breeding — Kennel "MerryMac"
Hagström began showing dogs at age 11 and bought her first Irish Terrier in 1973. Together with her husband Thomas, she co-founded kennel "MerryMac", which has produced around 200 champions since its first litter in 1977, including an Irish Terrier group win at the 2002 Amsterdam World Dog Show and dual CC wins at Crufts 2003. Since 2007 the kennel has also bred Jack Russell Terriers.

Hagström has received the Swedish Terrier Club Breeders Medal and the Swedish Kennel Club's Hamilton Plaquette.
