Judging Credentials
Joakim Ohlsson, born 1962, is a Best in Show judge under the Svenska Kennelklubben, awarding Challenge Certificates in Cavaliers since 2002 and now authorized across FCI Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 9. He has judged in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Germany, the USA and at Open show level in England, and is fluent in English, French, German and Spanish.
Breeding — Kennel "Hackensack"
Ohlsson grew up around Scottish Terriers bred by his father, and fell for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in 1989. Under the prefix "Hackensack" he produced top-winning Cavaliers from 1992–2007, was Swedish Top Breeder 1999–2007, and bred 43 champions including Ch WW-03 Hackensack Razzle Dazzle, Sweden's CC-record holder and the first Swedish-bred Cavalier to win Best of Breed at a World Show (Dortmund 2003). In 2005 he received the Swedish Cavalier Club's Breeders' honourable prize.
