Birgitta Svarstad, born 1940, is an all-breed and Best in Show judge under the Svenska Kennelklubben, first licensed on 13 October 1976 and confirmed as an all-breed judge in 2000; she is fluent in English, French, German, Spanish and Swedish. Her husband Per Svarstad is also an FCI judge.
Breeding — Kennel "Moorwood"
Together with Per, Svarstad breeds Shetland Sheepdogs under the prefix "Moorwood," a kennel that has produced more than 100 champions.
