About the Kennel

Background and breeding focus

She and her husband, Börje Johansson, got their first English Cocker Spaniel as newlyweds in 1983, founding the Allert's affix in 1990 on the island of Orust, where they breed exclusively parti-coloured English Cocker Spaniels. Their daughter Rebecca Govik became a co-owner of the kennel in 2015, and her cocker spaniel Bärra was the first foreign-bred cocker spaniel to win Best of Breed at Crufts.
