Background and breeding focus
He got his first dog, a Dobermann, in 1978, and bred his first litter in 1991 under the kennel name Zican. He later became known for bull-breeds, chiefly American Staffordshire Terriers and, more recently, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, under the kennel name Cedarleaf; his American Staffordshire Terriers under the Zican prefix played a role in establishing the breed in Sweden and won multiple Best in Show and Top Dog titles.
