The Faculty of Veterinary Sciences at the Austral University of Chile (UACh) stands as a pillar of academic excellence, holding the distinction of being the second-oldest veterinary program in the country. With 71 years of history, the institution has graduated over 3,000 veterinary professionals and is consistently ranked among the top 100 veterinary programs globally and number one within Chile. - Licentiate in Veterinary Medicine: Emphasizes advanced scientific-technological training, preparing students to promote animal health, manage production systems, and control zoonotic diseases.
- Postgraduate Offerings: The Graduate School provides highly internationalized programs, including a Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences, a Master’s in Animal Health, and specialized post-degree training in Clinical Veterinary Sciences, which covers small animals, equines, ruminants, and clinical pathology.
- Diplomas: Specialized programs are available in areas such as Animal Welfare, Meat Quality, and Wildlife Research and Management.
