St. George's University (SGU) School of Veterinary Medicine, located in Grenada, is a globally recognized institution dedicated to preparing students for the complexities of modern animal health care. The school is committed to a 'One Health, One Medicine' philosophy, emphasizing the critical connections between animal health, human health, and the environment. With an AVMA-accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program, SGU provides a rigorous academic environment that has achieved an 84.3% pass rate on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) over the last five years.

Academic Programs and Training

SGU offers a versatile range of educational pathways designed to accommodate students from diverse international education systems. The core DVM program is a four-year curriculum, with flexible entry points including one-, two-, or three-year preveterinary tracks, resulting in 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-year program options. The school also provides specialized dual-degree opportunities, such as the DVM/MSc, DVM/MPH, and DVM/MBA, which allow students to integrate veterinary medicine with public health, research, or organizational management.

Research and Clinical Exposure
