The Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America (DDBSA), established in February 1997, serves as the official parent breed club for the Dogue de Bordeaux in the United States. Registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the club has grown from an initial group of 50 members to a robust community of over 1,000 participants. In 2022, the DDBSA achieved a significant milestone by gaining official recognition as a member club of the American Kennel Club (AKC).
