Saluki Club of Greater San Francisco (SCGSF)

The Saluki Club of Greater San Francisco (SCGSF) is a premier organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Saluki breed. While geographically centered in Northern California, the club maintains an inclusive community, welcoming Saluki fanciers from across the United States and around the globe. The club holds a rich history, having been officially licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 1973. Its roots, however, extend even further back to the group's origins as the Sierra Saluki Club. Notably, the SCGSF holds the distinction of being the second regional Saluki club in the United States to host an annual independent specialty show.
