About the Kennel
Background and breeding focus
She bought her first Irish Terrier in 1973 and, together with her husband Thomas, breeds the Irish Terrier under the kennel name MerryMac in Kalmar; their first litter arrived in 1977, and the kennel has since bred around 200 champions including several World Winners and Best of Breed winners at World Shows. MerryMac Simply the Best won the Terrier Group at the World Dog Show in Amsterdam in 2002. In 2007 they added Jack Russell Terriers, importing foundation dogs from Australia.
