She breeds Bearded Collies under the kennel name Old Smuggler's, established in 1985 in the countryside outside Tystberga, Sörmland, making it Sweden's second-oldest active Bearded Collie kennel. Her mother, Barbara Vrethammar, was one of Sweden's first Bearded Collie breeders with her Trollflöjten kennel, and the Old Smuggler's line descends from that foundation stock.
