About the Kennel
Background and breeding focus
The kennel
Dulcannina is the Australian Silky Terrier prefix of Michael Camac, who has bred, exhibited and exported under it since 1968. Dulcannina bred and owned the first Silky Terrier to win Best Exhibit in Show at a Royal show anywhere in Australia, at Melbourne Royal in 1972. Beside the Silkies he has exhibited all three varieties of Poodle, the Pharaoh Hound and the Lhasa Apso, and he co-owned and handled the white Standard Poodle Australian Champion Leander White Blazer, imported from South Africa, to Best Exhibit in Show at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 1988.
