About the Kennel
Background and breeding focus
Erin Brown started exhibiting in the early 1960s and registered the Quanmarra prefix in 1971, when she imported her foundation Salukis from Daxlore Kennels in the United Kingdom. She has also shown and bred Papillons, Rottweilers and Dachshunds, but Salukis remained her abiding passion. She bred multiple Best in Show winning Salukis, in partnership with Penny Dunkley and with the Ahmadi Salukis of Ian Rasmussen and Philip Bennett. She is also an all-breeds cat judge for the Australian Cat Federation through the Feline Control Council of Queensland.
