About the Kennel

Background and breeding focus

Wayne Burton has owned, bred and exhibited Afghan Hounds, Shih Tzu, Scottish Terriers, Whippets, Salukis, Standard Poodles, English Toy Terriers and, more recently, Chihuahuas and Yorkshire Terriers. He has co-owned the Smidgit prefix, which breeds Yorkshire Terriers, with his wife Alanna Burton since November 2017; she bred earlier under the Lannaj prefix with Jan Clarke of Yetholme.
